Counselling session for youth held in South Kashmir’s Kokernag area | KNO

Srinagar, February 21 (KNO) : Anantnag police has organized a counselling session for the youth in Kokernag area of the district at SDPO Office Kokernag. The counselling session was aimed to create an understanding and building confidence among youth so that the ways and means are found to prevent any conflicting and law and order incidents in future. Parents and respectable citizens of the area along with youth joined the counselling session.

During the counselling session, SDPO Kokernag Shri Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad impressed upon the youth to concentrate on career building and work hard to make up the losses they have suffered during past because of law and order and other ugly situations. SDPO further advised the youth not to fall prey to the propaganda and instead channelize their energy in constructive and positive pursuits to contribute in large social good.

Many prominent citizens of the area also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the initiative of Anantnag Police. They also suggested to organize such sessions in future as well so that social crimes will be brought to an end to save the lives and careers of youth and mitigate the suffering of common people.(KNO)
